Protestant daycare center Tabea in Bieber-Nord

The Protestant daycare center for children Tabea in the Bieber-Nord development area has 124 places for babies and children aged zero to six in a new three-storey building. The daycare center comprises two crèche groups for under-threes and four kindergarten groups for three to six-year-olds.

The new Protestant Tabea daycare center in the Bieber-Nord educational complex, which was built by the city of Offenbach, is run by the Protestant daycare facilities for children of the Protestant Regional Association of Frankfurt and Offenbach.

In the new Bieber-Nord district, the inclusive daycare center aims to be a place of participation with a wide range of offers for young families and a catalyst for growing together and networking in the district.

Crèche:
Our two-group crèche area is located on the first floor and has bright, child-friendly rooms. There is a separate exercise room, which allows the children to pursue their need for exercise whatever the weather.
The group rooms are divided into dining and play areas and have their own bedroom and direct access to the garden. The rooms are equipped with high-quality materials with which the children can play imaginatively.

We work in the fixed groups according to the Hessian Education and Childcare Plan and Emmi Pikler's approach. In our work, we attach great importance to a trusting relationship, participation, free play and movement. The needs of the children are our top priority. Through a well-structured daily routine with rituals and recurring processes, we provide the children with a safe and calm place where they can develop and grow at their own pace.

A good educational partnership is very important to us. We take time for this from the very beginning and stay in regular contact with the parents.

Kindergarten:
On the 1st and 2nd floors are the rooms for children from the age of three. In addition to regular group rooms and a large exercise room, there are numerous smaller rooms for themed use. The rooms are designed to invite discovery and experimentation, while at the same time providing security and orientation. An outdoor area is also part of our room concept and will be incorporated into the daily routine once completed.

We want to accompany the children in their development and support them as they grow into independent, socially competent and individual personalities.

Open and trusting communication in the sense of an educational partnership is very important to us. We want to communicate with parents as equals and exchange information regularly.

We cook fresh meals in our house. We provide the children with breakfast and a warm lunch. When creating our menus, we pay attention to taste, balance and variety in accordance with the quality standards for children's nutrition from the German Nutrition Society. The children should enjoy eating and drinking. In line with their development, they are accompanied during meals and learn about a social table culture in an appreciative atmosphere.
