"Pedagogical concept":
Kindergarten education covers the developmental stage between toddler and school age. During this phase, children are highly receptive and eager to learn. Being together with their peers enables them to develop activities and become independent, to find their way in the community and to break away from a close-knit family. They should also be able to play, create and move freely. These important educational tasks are carried out by the kindergarten, which has a variety of educational objectives that should always be seen as preparation for later school attendance.

Our association consists of two daycare centers, each with two groups of three- to six-year-old children. Each group has a group room at its disposal. Each facility also has a kitchen and three washrooms with toilets. The groups are not of the same age, but are mixed-age, which offers various advantages. The younger children receive lots of stimulation and learn more easily by imitating older role models. The older children are expected to show consideration, exercise caution, help and explain. Furthermore, the mixed-age groups reflect a family situation with several children and promote and train good social behavior.

A kindergarten day starts at 8.00 am (or 7.30 am) and ends at 2.00 pm or 4.30 pm. During the morning, the children have the opportunity to participate in many different activities. First of all, they can choose something from the range of games, books, constructive material etc. and play alone or with others. It is also possible to play in the doll, building or reading corner. During this phase of free play, the teachers also carry out activities with small groups.
During free play time, the children can also have breakfast and a drink as they wish (so-called free breakfast). After breakfast, the group begins to do something together. For example, discussions are held on all kinds of topics, songs are sung, picture books are looked at, games are played or activities are carried out in other areas of our educational concept.
Once a week, the teachers do gymnastics with their group, where all kinds of small pieces of equipment provide an incentive for gymnastic exercises. When the weather is fine, the children's great urge to move is also taken into account by outdoor play and walks. Through weekly cooking activities, the children learn how to prepare healthy meals. In the afternoon, there is plenty of time for free play, as this is very important for the children's development. In addition, the teachers can devote more time to the individual child. The afternoon offers teachers and parents the opportunity to work together intensively, e.g. parent-teacher meetings, parent-child afternoons, craft afternoons, etc.. Some of the afternoons also include preparation times for the individual employees. There are also care and housekeeping tasks that are carried out in the afternoons.

The pedagogical concept of our kindergarten (it is taken into account from the time the children enter kindergarten until they leave for school) is made up of the following points: play, social education, visual arts - aesthetic education, cognitive education, environmental and material education, nature education, perception and motor skills, music and movement education, traffic education, household tasks, hygiene education.
The teachers will be happy to provide more detailed explanations. Parents can see the individual activities that are carried out with the children in the framework plans.
Children who spend the last year in kindergarten before starting school are given special support (counting quantities, swinging exercises, development of fine and gross motor skills). Extra information is sent to parents in writing six months before the child starts school.
The planning, preparation and celebration of festivals (be it St. Martin's Day, Advent, Shrove Tuesday, summer or the farewell to the first year of school) are also part of the kindergarten's work. Parents have the opportunity to take part in one celebration or another, but for larger festivities we are dependent on the active participation of parents, because only with parental help can our St. Martin's festival, for example, take place and be a success.
Kindergarten education should complement the education in the family and not deviate from it. For this reason, contact between parents and teachers is essential. The teachers are always available for discussions, but it is advisable to make an appointment for a longer discussion.
Parents' evenings primarily provide information, but they also serve as an opportunity for parents to get to know each other better and talk to each other. Joint activities between parents and children (e.g. excursions) promote good cooperation between parents and kindergarten.
All the staff at our kindergarten strive to do justice to the findings of pre-school education and wish the children and parents a pleasant stay at our facility.
