Erasmus kindergarten with crèche

Erasmus kindergarten and nursery opened in January 2010.

Children learn foreign languages right from the start. Three languages are spoken at the Erasmus Kindergarten: German, English and Spanish. All children learn these three languages at different levels from kindergarten onwards. We work according to the immersion method (one person - one language), which has proven to be the best language learning method for children of this age. In concrete terms, this looks like this at our school: The children meet staff members from Uruguay, Argentina, Colombia and Spain who speak Spanish, and from Canada, the USA, Australia and the UK who speak English as their mother tongue. All staff speak to the children in their mother tongue. Our experience shows impressively that after a familiarization phase, the children make rapid progress in learning a foreign language.

The kindergarten is open from 7.30 am to 4.30 pm. Erasmus offers late care from 4.30 to 6.30 pm. You can find more details on our homepage (opens in a new tab)
