NiO - Local traffic in Offenbach

Stadtwerke Offenbach's Geschäftsfeld Mobilität includes the companies NiO - Nahverkehr in Offenbach GmbH and OVB Offenbacher Verkehrs-Betriebe GmbH as well as the regional project control center of the Rhine-Main Electromobility Model Region, which is located directly at Stadtwerke Offenbach Holding.

The Geschäftsfeld Mobilität keeps Offenbach on the move. With 87 low-floor buses, 36 of which are electric, on nine inner-city routes and more than 200 stops.

The aim is to offer networked, multimodal mobility that provides Offenbach residents with safe and convenient door-to-door transportation. Buses and trains have been enriching public mobility in the city for 140 years. As competent contacts for all questions relating to public transportation, the two companies work together to provide a needs-based, economically viable and sustainable public transportation service in Offenbach.
