Stadtwerke Offenbach secures local public transport in the region and provides new impetus for the expansion of climate protection in the city. With their Geschäftsfeld Mobilität, they guarantee an economically viable and sustainable public transport service in Offenbach. They ensure that more than 12 million passengers a year travel reliably, promptly, safely and environmentally friendly from door to door. The business segment includes the companies NiO - Nahverkehr in Offenbach GmbH, OVB Offenbacher Verkehrs-Betriebe GmbH and MMO Main Mobil Offenbach GmbH.

OVB operates 86 modern low-floor buses on nine inner-city routes in Offenbach, serving more than 280 stops. Almost half of the bus fleet runs on electricity and is therefore locally emission-free and quiet. Only low-floor vehicles are used to ensure barrier-free access to public transport for everyone.

Buses and streetcars have been enriching public mobility in the city for more than 125 years.
