Volunteer representative

The Volunteering Officer promotes volunteering in Offenbach through intensive contact with associations, church communities, social and voluntary institutions. He issues the official volunteer card, advises interested parties, establishes contacts and maintains a network between all those involved. Another important task is to thank and recognize volunteers, for example through events that highlight civic engagement: Civic Engagement Week, Volunteer Day (reception for volunteers). In addition, the Volunteer Officer works closely with the Offenbach Volunteer Center, the adult education center and authorities of the state of Hesse, the district of Offenbach and the Offenbach sports district.
