KJK Sandgasse
The listed building, built in 1903 as a municipal pawnshop, houses a children's café, a multifunctional concert and event hall, workshops and laboratories as well as the youth culture office on around 1800 square meters.
Overview
The children's, youth and cultural center offers many activities under one roof:
- Children's and parents' meeting place
The children's club is an open facility for children from the city center. The program is geared towards the interests of the children and includes both leisure and educational activities.
The parents' meeting point offers parents from the city center extensive communication and educational opportunities. - Youth bistro
Play billiards, read, listen to music, meet people of the same age. The youth bistro is an open, catered meeting place for young people aged 11 and over who are interested in a varied range of leisure activities or want to find out the latest youth information. Incidentally, Tuesdays belong to the girls.
- Media floor
The Medien-Etage sees itself as a partner for children and young people, groups, schools, institutions and clubs and tailors its services to their needs. The products produced on the media floor can be seen in the Offenbach youth network or in the youth magazine "Standby -- Das Yougendmagazin" on the Offener Kanal. - Youth Culture Office
With its wide range of youth culture activities, the Youth Culture Office is a project for the entire city of Offenbach
