Office of the City Council

The Office of the City Council is the office of the City Council and its committees. It is an independent office that does not report directly to a department, but to the Chairman of the City Council.

The employees are responsible for the concerns of the members of the City Council and its committees. They are also the point of contact for the political groups. All meetings of the City Council, its committees and other bodies such as the Council of Elders and various working groups are organized and conducted from here. In addition, the office supports the activities of the Chairman of the City Council, including in the area of representation.

In addition to its function as an office for city councillors, it is also the office of the Foreigners' Advisory Council, which is assigned to Department III. The head of the office and her staff support the Foreigners' Advisory Council and its chairman in their tasks in their function as managing director and office of the Foreigners' Advisory Council, not least in the organization of the two-day Cultural Festival of Nations.
