Overview
The Veterinary and Consumer Protection Office is responsible for all activities of the official veterinary service. These include
- food law in terms of consumer protection
- compliance with the Animal Welfare Act
- the prevention of animal diseases in accordance with the Animal Health Act, AHL and the individual animal disease ordinances.
We are the point of contact for all questions relating to food monitoring and consumer protection (in the broadest sense) as well as animal health.
This also includes advising and processing complaints in the food and animal welfare sector.
Food companies and livestock farmers in the city of Offenbach am Main must be registered with us.
Various forms and applications are available to download for the individual fields of activity.
