Health advice in accordance with the Prostitutes Protection Act

The aim of health counseling within the framework of the Prostitutes Protection Act is to provide all persons working in prostitution with access to important information on health protection. As part of the counseling sessions, we offer individual support on a variety of topics that are important to those affected.

Depending on requirements, we provide information on contraception options and protection against sexually transmitted diseases. We also provide information on contraception and maternity protection to ensure health protection during a possible pregnancy. We also provide advice on the health risks of drug use in connection with working in prostitution. Our advice services are designed to promote the self-determination of those affected and to provide them with the best possible information about their rights and protection options.

Please bring the following documents with you to your appointment

• An official photo ID (e.g. identity card or passport)

The consultation is subject to a fee.

A fee of 44 euros is charged for the consultation. If an alias certificate is also issued, this will incur additional costs of 12 euros.

The fee must be paid in cash.

The assessment is carried out on the basis of the relevant laws

• Laws for the protection of persons engaged in prostitution (Prostitutes Protection Act - ProstSchG)
  § 10 para. 1

For young adults aged 18 and 21, the law requires counseling every six months.

For people over the age of 21, counseling is mandatory once a year.
