Healing and sanatorium treatment

It will be checked whether the cure or sanatorium treatment is necessary or whether outpatient treatment at the place of residence is sufficient.

Official medical examinations are important tasks of the public health department according to the Hessian Law on the Public Health Service (HGöGD) The necessity of such an examination or the preparation of corresponding expert opinions/certificates/certificates is regulated by special laws.

A written order from the relevant authority or institution is required for the examination to be carried out. The official acts are subject to a fee.

• Order letter from the authority/institution (if not already available to the City Health Department)
• Official photo ID
• Copies of medical documents (medical findings/certificates, treatment reports, expert opinions)

The assessment is subject to a fee and is based on §19 of the Hessian Law on the Public Health Service (HGöGD), the Hessian Administrative Costs Act, the Administrative Costs Regulations for the Business Area of the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration (VwKostO-HSMI). The fees will be invoiced to you or you can pay on site.
