AIDS counseling
Overview
<p>AIDS counseling is offered in Hesse by health authorities and independent providers (Hessische Aidshilfen, AIDS-Aufklärung Frankfurt). Counseling is confidential, anonymous and free of charge. Counseling can cover topics such as HIV testing, infection risks, infection protection and fear of infection. The AIDS counseling service also provides comprehensive information on HIV infection and AIDS. Counseling can take place in person or by telephone, AIDS service organizations also offer e-mail and online counseling.<br />

At some health authorities (not in the city of Offenbach) and at some AIDS service organizations, it is possible to have an anonymous HIV test carried out, in some cases it is necessary to make an appointment in advance.<br />
