Further vocational training, promotion of special employees

Older employees can receive support from the Federal Employment Agency to cover the costs of further training, provided that the training is carried out as part of an existing employment relationship.

The training costs are provided as a benefit for the employee. They receive an education voucher with which they can choose from certified further training courses.

The employee must apply for the benefit in good time before the start of participation at the employment agency responsible for the employee's place of residence using the "Questionnaire on the assumption of further training costs for a vocational further training measure for older employees". A certificate from the employing company to be completed by the employer must be enclosed.

Once these documents have been checked, the employee can receive their personal training voucher.

You can obtain the necessary forms from the office responsible for you.

There are no costs or fees for you as the applicant.

The education voucher is valid for up to 3 months. The planned training measure must begin during the period of validity of the voucher.
