Violence against children and young people

Children and adolescents who are victims of mistreatment, neglect, or abuse urgently need protection and help. Those who are “close by” can provide the most effective assistance. They are often the only ones who can pass on information and thereby set help processes in motion.

If you notice signs of such issues in your neighborhood, among your acquaintances, or even among your relatives, please speak with them directly and let them know that you are concerned or that you cannot and will not accept certain behaviors.

If you feel that speaking directly with the child’s guardians will not lead to an improvement in the child’s situation, please contact the authorities immediately. Your anonymity will be protected.
